    Yahoo is to upgrade its two primary mobile services and documentation of it will be launched today on Jan 7. This will let any developer or publisher write mobile widgets for the Yahoo services. Third parties are invited to write mobile widgets. Yahoo will open up its mobile platform so that outside programmers can develop new applications that can be planted on Yahoo pages accessed on mobile handsets. The minim-applications know as “widgets”, will surely help attract more on-the-go users so it can make more money from advertising.
