    A South Indian gang of laptop lifters was busted by the city police detective department on Wednesday. At least 11 members of the gang have been arrested and three laptops recovered from them.

    Operating from Kharagpur, this notorious gang used to target posh south Kolkata localities. They would target people who left laptops in their cars. A decoy would be sent to drop a few currency notes in front of the driver. With the driver's attention distracted, the gang would pick up the laptop from the car and flee.
