The event will see about 10,500 top athletes from 100 countries, competing through 302 different sports events. Beach volleyball, sailing, and marathon swimming will be held in Qingdao city. Hong Kong will organize the equestrian events at Hong Kong Sports Institute in Fo Tan, Sha Tin.
