FIGHT RESULT: GAMBOA DOWN, GAMBOA RISE

The first round of this boxing event is really eye-catching. Never take a glimpse because the first round really rocks the Pechanga Resort. Both of the fighters exhanges punches, but Gamboa was down because of a strong accidental elbow shot coming from Ramirez. All the crowd thought it would be the end of the event but Gamboa made himself alive till the next round. They are still exhanging punches in Round 2, but Gamboa is really fast and his continuous blows knock Ramirez down. Ramirez stood up and continue the fight but Gamboa seems to have more power that night that made Ramirez knock down again for the second time. Ramirez was counted out with 1:19 left in Round 2. Ramirez is taking his time, breathing, while referee is counting. It seems that Ramirez not really hurt but he really take the count for granted. This is Ramirez mistake. He should have stood up quickly if he is not really hurt and he should not rest while the referee is counting. I think Ramirez has an opportunity to win here if ever he stood up very quickly in that round. Well, for Gamboa, you really hit fast, that’s impressive for me.
